It is regularly used for drainage, plumbing, water supply, and sewerage products to indicate that the product complies with regulations and is prepared and installed with high-quality and safety.

These regulations are governed by the State. However, Standards Australia works in sync with the regulators to approve and certify these products under the certification of the WaterMark scheme for better services.

Temperature and Installation

The regulations of various states are unanimous. For instance, according to these regulations, the temperature of the tank which is used to store water should be more than 60-degree to avoid bacterial growth in the tank. Similarly, the water dispensed from the tap should not be more than 50-degree to avoid scalding and mishaps.
